Help Flying Leap get to the Guggenheim! We're Fundraising...

As you may already know, Flying Leap will be in residence next month at the Guggenheim Museum’s Education Departmentcollaborating with migrant and 1st-gen teenagers to bring back Beyond the Wal || Más Allá del Muro, from a pandemic pause. Beyond the Wall explores cultural identity through 15 foot tall puppets co-created with migrant and borderland teens. (Pics and press here – we made it to NPR and Huffpo before the pandemic crashed in!)

We have about half the funds we need, and are launching a fundraising campaign TODAY to raise the rest.

IBeyond the Wall || Más Allá del Muro works to recognize, address, and dismantle institutional and structural racism at the border and beyond. In a charged election year steeped in still increasing villifcation of migrants, we are deeply proud to be producing this project alongside the teens and collaborating artists from Mexico, the US, and Europe. At Flying Leap, we truly believe that through collaborative performance, we are able to craft alternative narratives and means of existence, generating the circumstances for new, bold, equitable futures.
