Digital Marketing Manager
About Flying Leap
Flying Leap Productions is a non-profit family theater company making inclusive, participatory, site-specific performances focused on complex themes. We collaborate with artists and audiences to devise and bring performances to community spaces, fostering dialogue and connection. With an emphasis on accessibility and joy, Flying Leap Productions aims to empower families to engage in challenging conversations. Flying Leap’s international artists are currently working in New York, Arizona, and Mexico. Our work has reached more than 500 families across 4 countries, creating meaningful theatrical experiences that help families cross boundaries between them.
Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Digital Manager at Flying Leap Productions. The Digital Manager will be responsible for:
managing social media platforms, email newsletters, and regular website updates
analyzing performance metrics
optimizing online presence
coordinating digital campaigns across platforms
developing engaging content for social media and email drip campaigns.
Qualifications
We are seeking a kind, motivated, independent digital native who is ready to work in a growing, collaborative non-profit environment.
Must have qualifications include:
Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, and Content Creation skills
Experience in analyzing and interpreting digital performance metrics
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and web accessibility best practices
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, Squarespace, Mailchimp
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote setting
.Nice to have qualifications:
Experience in theater/performing arts
Bilingual English/Spanish a BIG plus

Compensation will be equal to the living wage at the candidate’s county at the time of hire. (https://livingwage.mit.edu/), set at no less than $15/hour. You can view our Pay Equity Policy at www.flying-leap.com/pay-equity.
This role is a 1099 independent contractor role, with renewable 6-month contracts.
Commitment is approximately 5 hours per week, with the potential to increase substantially at key moments of the year.
The role is fully remote, and the schedule is flexible, but requires a commitment to regular weekly and monthly calls during ET working hours.
Projected start date: January 13, 2025
Hiring Timeline
December 2 – Applicants submit a cover letter and resume
Mid-December – Selected candidates will attend a 1:1 Zoom interview with a member of the admin team
Late December / Early January - up to four candidates will be invited to a final interview with the full admin team
January 8 – Final offer out
